We’re always reinventing, redesigning, and re-coding TED.com. But for a while from 2013-2014, that work was really underway — in the form of our first major overhaul of the site since we first launched in 2007. Read about that process here at HelloTED, and continue to follow along with us on the TEDBlog to get insights, information, and the latest updates from members of our product, technology, user experience, and design teams.
Beginning in November 2013, we began releasing beta versions of key portions of the new TED.com to a group of TED fans. After testing and incorporating tons of user feedback, we made or full site switch-over in March 2014. And we’ve continued to build out the back-end services our staff needs to run the site.
A redesign is a special time for a tech team, so we invite you to read about us here and on our TEDBlog column “From the Tech Team”. As always, we love to hear from you. Tweet at us or drop us a line.
